💡 **_Have a Doorbell Camera?_** Physically install your device before setting it up in the August app.

  

The following steps will help you configure your Doorbell Camera in the August app:

1.  In the August app, tap the **menu icon (****☰****)** in the top left corner.
2.  Choose **Set up a Device**.
3.  Tap Set up an August Doorbell Cam, and choose your model and select **START** to begin the setup flow.
4.  Follow the in-app instructions to make sure the Doorbell Cam has power.
5.  After following the in-App setup flow, name your Doorbell Cam and assign it to an August house.
    *   💡 **_Have an August Smart Lock?_** You can pair your Doorbell Cam to your Smart Lock at this step.
6.  Next, connect the Doorbell Cam to your Wi-Fi network. You will be asked to enter the password for your Wi-Fi network.
7.  After a few moments, your Doorbell Cam should be successfully connected within the August app.
