This article includes steps to using the Airbnb and August integration.

  

❗**_In order for this integration to work properly, only the primary host can pair their August account with their Airbnb account._** This integration sends out an email to the guest and BCCs the primary host. If a co-host pairs their Airbnb and August accounts, the email will not be sent to either the primary host or the guest. If the emails are not being sent, please [contact us](mailto:support@august.com).

  

### Integrating your Airbnb account with your August Smart Lock

1.  In the August app, tap the **menu icon (****☰****)** in the upper left corner.
2.  Select **Works With**.
3.  Select **Airbnb**.
4.  Tap **Connect to Airbnb**.
5.  Tap **Allow** to begin integrating your accounts.
6.  You will be prompted to allow August to access Airbnb. Tap **OK**.
7.  You may need to sign in to your Airbnb account if you are not already connected.
8.  If you are directed back to the August app and it asks you to connect to Airbnb again, try closing out of the app. 
9.  Once the integration is complete, there will be a green checkmark beside the Airbnb integration in the Works With menu.

  

  

### Disconnecting Airbnb from your August account

If you decide you no longer want to use the Airbnb and August integration, you can disconnect your accounts.

  

1.  In the August app, tap the **menu icon (****☰****)** in the upper left corner.
2.  Select **Works With**.
3.  Select **Airbnb**.
4.  Tap **DISCONNECT**.
5.  You will receive a notification to confirm you wish to disconnect your accounts. Tap **OK.**
