Simply send each guest an invitation to download the app. After doing so, they'll have instant access to your home based on the access levels you set.  💡 **_If they already have an August account, your key will appear in their keychain after you send the invite provided you send it to the number listed in their August Account._** ❗**_Guests need to have a [compatible](https://support.august.com/phone-compatibility-HyWRI8yA_z) smart phone to download the August App and use your Smart Lock._** Select iOS or Android (depending on your device) for steps to invite guests to use your August Smart Lock. ## iOS To add a guest, first send them an invite: 1. In the August app, tap the **Guest icon** from the menu on the lower right of the screen. 2. Tap **Invite** and then choose an invite option. Enter the guest's phone number or select them from your contact's list to invite them to use your lock. 3. Tap **Send Invite** once you have added your guest and designated their access level and type. Your guest will then receive a text notification with a link to download the August app. Have your guest download the August app. 5. Once they download and open the August app, your guest will have 3 options to log in. Your guest can: 1. Tap **I Received an Invite**. This adds your lock to their keychain. 2. Tap **Set Up My First August Device**. They will be prompted through the lock setup flow, but will be unable to complete the flow as the device is already associated with your account. 3. Tap **Sign In** to an existing account. August users that already have an account with devices associated with it can use this option to log in.
