On behalf of August the Honeywell Total Connect iOS and iPad app can lock and unlock an August Smart Lock.

## Setting up Honeywell Total Connect to lock and unlock an August Smart Lock

Note: August Connect is required in order to set up Honeywell Total Connect with the August Smart Lock.

1.  Download the Honeywell Total Connect 2.0 app and launch it
2.  Tap the top right menu option and select 'Add/Remove August Smart Lock'
3.  If an August Lock account has not been created, tap “Setup my August Smart Lock”. If an August Smart Lock has been installed, and an account created, tap “Attach my August Smart Lock"
4.  Enter your August username and password to connect the Honeywell and August accounts. This step enables the Honeywell Total Connect app to lock and unlock the August Smart Lock
5.  Assign the August Smart lock to Home or Office
6.  Select “Front Door” or “Back Door” and tap “Done”
7.  The August Smart Lock will now appear on the Total Connect 2.0 Dashboard
8.  Tap the August Smart Lock icon to lock and unlock your door

This completes all the steps for setting up Honeywell Total Connect and your August Smart Lock.
