Q: Why can't I integrate my Nest Cam with my August account?
A: Only the House Owner (the person who set up the lock), can integrate their August with Nest.
Q: What do I need to set up the camera integration?
A: The Nest Cam integration is only available to Nest Cam owners who have a Nest Aware subscription.
Q: How do I sign up for a Nest Aware subscription?
A: For more information about Nest Aware, visit the Nest Support Site.
Q: How do I see camera motion events activities in my August app?
A: If you've already integrated your Nest thermostat with your August account, and you have Nest cameras, you will have to update your permissions with Nest in order to receive the new camera integration features.
Q: How will I know if my account has been integrated correctly?
A: Once you have successfully set up your account, the plus sign next to Nest ( in My Apps), will change to a green check mark.
Q: Why can't I see some (or all) of my cameras?
A: You will only be able to see the cameras that have an active Nest Aware subscription. Each camera will require its own Nest Aware subscription.
